Alison King

Alison King is an Associate Professor at Charles Darwin University, Darwin. Alison has had a significant career as a respected researcher in both University and government. Her main research interests have focused on environmental flows, freshwater fish recruitment, life-history traits, adaptations and flow-ecology relationships.  She is a well published researcher, attends and presents regularly at conferences, and has received numerous awards recognising her research achievements. Alison has a strong background of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including scientists, policy makers, resource managers, industry sectors (fishers, farmers) and indigenous groups. She has been a member of ASFB for 20 years, and has previously served on the ASFB executive, education sub-committee and organised a number of conferences.
