How to Nominate

Selection criteria

Individuals may be nominated if they meet any of the following criteria:

  • KRA Award winner
  • Major contribution to research on fish and/or fisheries in Australasia
  • Major contribution to research that has had a significant impact on fisheries or fish research in Australasia
  • Significant contribution to the Society over an extended period (e.g. key office bearer)

Nomination Process

Individuals who meet the selection criteria may be nominated by a member of the Society at any time of the year.
The nominator will be required to write/assist with a biography on the nominee for publication (newsletter, website).
Nominations can be considered at any Exec meeting as necessary.
Inclusion to the Hall of Fame is entirely at the discretion of Exec.
