The Australian Society for Fish Biology has an active policy of supporting researchers and students whose discipline or research is relevant to the activities of the society. The principal way it demonstrates its support is through its annual awards.
Please note that all awards for the postponed 2020 World Fisheries Congress (John Glover, John Lake, Gilbert P. Whitley, Science Communication Competitions) have been put on hold until further discussions with the executive. We will announce when we will be accepting these applications.
All research awards, including the student Barry Jonassen, Michael Hall, and Early Career Excellence are still open. The international travel scholarships for both students and ECRs are also open.
