Hayden is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Sydney Institute of Marine Science. Working closely with both modellers and fisheries scientists, he tries to bridge the gap between oceanographers and fisheries biologists. His current research projects span a wide range of topics from crab fisheries to larval dispersal and artificial reefs. Hayden previously worked as a data scientist at UNSW where he also completed a PhD on tailor.
